We cut out of work on Friday to get a little family time with Uncle Ivan from LA. He took these great pics and vids of the family.
I'm not sure how I feel about Lucie's need-4-speed. I predict more ER visits than originally forecasted. uhoh...

Sorry for the belated posts. Our iMac died over the holidays and Teresa just took it in to the Genius Bar to get it set back up.
We're back in action.
This is Caden on 1.31.2009...he just turned 1 on 1.15 and started walking on 12.24.2008. He's now up to jogging.

Ay Ay Matey. Lucie-Pirate will hook you where it hurts.
After getting our asses kicked on a pirate water ride, Lucie decides to gear up and take matters into her own hands. For the record, she caught me where it counts. One by hook, one by sword. Ouch...hope it doesn't leave a mark for life.

Taking Down Legoland...
Lucie conquered all roller coasters; got her Volvo driver's license; and road a horse with only one hand on the reigns. Legoland is not match for lucie-nator.

Walking Tall!
Caden Kenji and I had saturday all to ourselves. A "man's" weekend of sorts. As you can see Cady is walking and then trying to dead lift his toy box and then just sits down and smiles. All he needed was a beer and without mommy there he snuck a few sips of mine.
You might ask why the hat indoors? Well, chicks dig it....

Happy Halloween!!!
I barely made it to Halloween evening. I left Tokyo Narita airport on a 3:25 pm flight on Friday 10.31 and arrived in Portland Oregon at 7:30 am that same day and then managed to stay up all day. It finally crashed. I think I feel asleep around 8:30 and woke up noon the next day.
Also, I'm sure someday CadyK will get back at Lucie for putting that princess tiara on his head. I'm not sure his beer drinking buddies of the future will give him the benefit of having no control over this.
Big shout out to Megan & Chris Sirovy and Shelby Root (god mother) for making Lucie's Halloween fantastic.
