Tough Girl!

As you can tell mommy isn't around today. Poppy has her dressed up as a gender indifferent street hood -- didn't want the kids at the playground to mess with her. Little boys veer away from her because she looks like she's batting for the other team. Girl's stay away from her...well because she looks like she plays hockey (not bball) and can kick some major ass.

She actually had a great time at the park and on the deck. Lots of sun and open space puts Lucie in hyperdrive. Each day she loses just a little more self control and fear. I don't think there is anything that she won't try. Today alone she's tried to walk down a spiral slide, climb up the climbing wall, and crawl under her own bed (where she proceeded to stay quiet, just to freak me out).



Anyway, she misses mom's a ton. We both wish you were here. We're holding down the fort while you're gone.
